Music Monday and Changing Lives Concert

Today's Monday entry: all about my love, Justin Timberlake. I'm sorry but I believe I still have hangover from the Changing Lives concert last Saturday. Yes, I gave in and decided to watch and I am so so so glad that I did! It was well worth it and I want more. ;)

Here is a video of one of Timbaland's and Justin Timberlake's song performance from the concert live at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds:

This song just never gets old for me. I can't believe I got teary-eyed when Justin went on stage. Seriously. I was flushed and I felt like I was going to melt down to the ground.

Next time he comes over, I will definitely make sure I'm more than a VIP. A VVVVVVVVIP if that's even possible.

Enjoy the video!

Timbaland Manila Tour.

Timbaland featuring Justin Timberlake & JoJo

To watch or not to watch? That is the question.

I like Timbaland's songs and collaborations.
I enjoy Jojo's songs.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE.

But I am undecided whether or not I should go and watch these 3 perform. Jojo and JT are only "guest stars".

One great factor affecting my decision is my budget. I'm saving up for something for my birthday, I already set a monthly spending allowance and money-to-set-aside every payday. I don't think I can ruin my budget for a concert... but then it's Justin Timberlake and this may never happen again! :|

I am so TORN.

Craig David Live in Manila!

Craig David will be performing live tonight at Araneta Coliseum at 8 PM and I won't be able to watch! Sucks! :( After seeing the prices of the tickets just now at Ticketnet, I regretted not buying one earlier but then again I'm thinking on the much positive side which is me saving up for more important things. I will not feel bad. I will not.

I just said that it sucks cos his first album, Born to do it, is one of my all-time favorites along with Jagged Little Pill (Alanis Morissette), Nevermind and Nirvana (Nirvana), Missundaztood (Pink), S&M and Metallica (Black Album) (Metallica) and others, so it's just sad that I am going to miss this opportunity of seeing him perform live. Oh well, think MORE IMPORTANT THINGS (long time things); monthly bills and savings. There's just one concert that I swore I won't miss whatever happens, whatever the cost of the ticket and whether I go alone or not: Justin Timberlake.

Anyway, back to good ol' Craig David, if you guys haven't heard his songs (at least didn't know that he sang it) I'd like to share my favorites. You can click on them for lyrics:

Good Evening, Maniluhhh!! Rihanna and Chris Brown Concert.

Uh-huh, uh-huh! We were there last night at the Bonifacio Open Field in Taguig for the Rihanna and Chris Brown Back-to-Back Concert.

In general, the concert was fun. Chris Brown and Rihanna both rocked the stage! I can now say based from first hand experience that they are good performers. They have had a lot of energy and their moves are just WOW.

There was just two things that were not enjoyable last night. The first one was the super long line to get inside that led to an "almost" stampede and the concert started while we were still in line, I think we got in around after 2 songs. The second thing, most of us enjoyed Chris Brown better than Rihanna. Rihanna was good. Really really good but she sang several songs that most of the people just watched in silence and the songs wasn't even mellow unlike CB's songs that he performed! I don't know but maybe it's because CB drained our energy with all his upbeat songs plus that "almost" stampede incident.

Overall it was a great night. Both were good performers. I love Rihanna ever since her Pon de Replay days until today's Rehab. Her songs are good and her voice is amazing, I can now add GREAT performer to that list. Chris Brown on the other hand, although I know almost all his songs and I enjoy listening to them I was not really a huge fan of his BUT after seeing him perform, I'm making a u-turn! Haha! He IS good.

I just feel bad I didn't get the chance to take a photo of them. Boohoo! I was hoping to get a picture taken during the after party but still with no luck.

Still, I had fun! I hope they come back here soon and then I'd buy front row seats (or stands since it's the open field). :)
