Return What You Borrow

Life Lesson # 1. It's simple really... when you borrow something, return it after use.

It may be "just" a book, "just" a CD, "just" a shirt, or heck even "just" a pen but it's good manners and basically "just" overall polite to return something that you've borrowed because it may be "just" just to you, but it may not be "just" just to the owner. (note the "" on every just word)

I'm saying this based on experience and because I was going through my things and I am missing some books, DVDs (all original, thank you), and clothing. I don't know if those who borrowed from me just forgot to return it, they lost it, or they just don't want to return it anymore. I'm not mad. Just saying.

In case you're one of those "I was really planning to return it but I just keep on forgetting" type, life lesson #1 applies to generally everything that has something to do with borrowing. Borrowing means it belongs to someone else hence, you should return it.

I'll say it again, whatever it is you borrowed, have the courtesy to return it to who lent it to you. No matter how long it has been already. Oh please, especially if s/he is not your close friend. That would be embarrassing.

My first 2012 blog post

As usual, I wasn't able to update my blog for months again. I know I said I'll try and update at least every week but then I had several work loads, deadlines, and interviews and I just couldn't make time. I'm grateful about all the work I'm getting though. SUPER DUPER GRATEFUL. :)

Anyway, just dropping to update and keep a list of what's been up for the past weeks/months.

  • Late 2011 has been crazy, fun, and crazy fun.
  • 2012 started off really great, work-wise. I've been doing several trials, interviews, and new clients.
  • I know spend less time drinking out, and more time staying home working (if that's even possible, given the amount of time I spend working ever since)
  • Been cutting off people on my "friends" list because I feel I'm much closer to those I rarely see and haven't even met, than those I've actually been friends with for some time.
  • I met a lot of new friends on Twitter which I'm so happy about. Thanks to tennis and my love, Roger Federer. (MY TWITTER) I had to set my tweets on private though because some people who are not even following me are bashing me.
  • I'm reviving my Tumblr account. You can check it out and follow me there too. (MY TUMBLR) It's mostly Roger Federer and tennis-related posts but I'm working on mixing it up with my other favorite things.
  • I'm catching up with my favorite TV series.
  • I miss Chuck.
  • I'm active on the Roger Federer Fans forum. If you are a fan, join us there too!
  • Been interested reading about US Immigration law recently. Not like I'm planning on migrating, but..... yeah. Check this lawyer out: Immigration and Employment Law Blog
  • Currently enjoying making photo collage. Here's my first work: (of course it had to be him <3)
  • I have my eyes and mind set on making a purchase this year. I've been praying and praying and praying. I believe.

Tuesday Random Thought

I was going about my Twitter timeline when I saw a a tweet from a friend of mine:

"What makes two people come together? By fate or destiny?"

I replied:

"What makes two people come together? CHOICE."

You choose your fate, you choose your destiny. Basically, it all comes down to CHOICE... whether you want it bad enough or not, whether it's worth it or a waste of a time, whether it's good or bad, right or wrong.

A Love Letter To No One.

There is no excuse for me not being here for the past month/s or so, I have just been too preoccupied and exhausted from work to be able to post about any updates from me. No worries, you haven't missed much and as of this writing, I am currently crawling out of my depression stage yet again.

I feel too mentally and emotionally burned out  to function properly... and that's nothing new if you have been following this blog since the beginning. It comes and it goes. This one however, made me crash right down at the pit and I can feel everything crumbling down. It's like this particular "problem" was the last straw to my already-falling-apart-life. I'm back at the bottom again.

I found this letter on my Facebook account from a friend and it touched me. I'm not sure exactly whether it helped it helped me feel better or actually made me a lot hopeless.

Read (this may be a bit long but it's worth your 5 minutes!):

My Daughter's Letter To The Man She Will Love Someday

Dear You,

I will admit that sometimes I really do wonder if you exist.

There is a part of every little girl’s heart that envisions her prince charming. At age three, it is usually of a man who can save her from the wrath of an evil stepmother, wake her from eternal slumber or give her that true love’s kiss.

In elementary school, he becomes the boy with the least cooties, the one who’s willing to cross the playground to share his Oreos even if it makes him a target for the week of all the other boys.

Come high school, it’s that boy you stand with at prom, who your father stared down at the door, who provided you with an experience complete with photos you will cringe at a decade later, a corsage that yellows in the refrigerator, and a faded memory of a night that seemed almost too magical to be real.

Nineteen years into this life, however, and still unwilling to give my heart away, I am still that same little girl who hopes for her prince charming. And although I wonder why it has taken you this long to sweep me off my feet and whisk me off to your palace on horseback, I know that it is probably because meeting you will be better than any fairytale I could’ve read as a kid.

A couple of heartbreaks and a few years wiser though, I will admit that there are times when I question your existence. Because I have yet to meet the guy who makes me hear songs like “All My Life” or “A Whole New World” in my head when I see him does not mean I don’t hope that it’ll ever happen.

I may already know you or may still meet you someday—something I leave completely up to God because I’m pretty sure our story will be epic.

However, I can’t promise you that I’d make the world’s most perfect princess. In fact I’ll probably keep you on your toes and amuse you with my eccentricities—there are a lot of them. I’ll probably steal a bunch of your T-shirts and turn them into shirt dresses, or drive you slightly mad with my obsessive compulsivity and my need to fix your collar constantly.

I can promise to be your best friend however—that person you can rant to after a rough day, the hand you can hold when you get sad, or the person you can text when situations get awkward.

I’ll probably mess up your hair sometimes and hug you for too long, but that’ll only be because I absolutely adore you. I’ll bury my head in your shoulder during scary movies and make you feel like superman when you kill those flying cockroaches that really shouldn’t exist. I’ll cook your favorite food on your birthday and try my best to make friends with your mom.

I’ll respect your nights-out with the boys and make you seem like the perfect guy to my barkada. I’ll watch basketball or soccer games with you, and not complain when you cheer too loudly at the TV set.

I’ll know the difference between giving you space and being constantly there for you—even if it means sitting and playing video games with you or taking hot chocolate runs when it rains.

I’ll listen to your music and we’ll go on epic adventures together—seeing the world, taking awesome pictures, eating awesome food, and never running out of things to tell each other along the way.

I won’t be waiting for you to sweep me off my feet and take me on a magic carpet ride, because I know I won’t need anything like that to fall for you—I will love you for you.

You will be that someone to make goofy faces with in pictures, to lace fingers with when I’m lonely, and to take long walks under the stars with on the beach.

You’ll be the guy who takes me the way I am—and will laugh as I burst into Disney song or pick out pink wallpaper.

You’ll be that someone I envision a future with—us filling out visa forms as we travel the universe, picking out our first dog together and arguing about what to name it, or being snap-happy stage parents in our preschooler’s annual mini-plays. And I keep hoping that maybe someday when we find each other, you will become that someone whose smile I wake up to in the morning and the last one I speak to every night.

So to the man I know does exist, and who will help me maybe make sense of the world someday, this man I can’t wait to love. Please know that I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. But for now, I wait. Fingers crossed and palms held together, I hope that you’re out there somewhere, waiting for me, too.

With the hope I will be yours for always,

Me

I need help with Apple!

No, not my friend Apple. Apple as in the company.

It's true how they say "when it rains, it pours" because now, I don't use my laptop's battery anymore, my wristpad is slowly chipping off on the sides and just the other night while I was wiping my laptop clean, I noticed the lower body on the screen is already a little "loose", it doesn't "stick" as compared to the sides. I can press it and see the "stickiness" gone.

What's making me feel so frustrated and upset right now is that it has been 2 years since I got this laptop, meaning, the 1-year warranty that I was not able to use during its first year with me because I didn't experience any defects or problems, is now gone. Useless. Wasted.

I don't think I afford spending P 6,500 for the battery and P 7,500 for the unibody replacement. No. I CAN'T. I know my laptop is still alive and surviving without the batter and with chip offs on the lower part of the wristpad but I couldn't stand seeing it slowly deteriorating right in front of my eyes. :|

Now, what I'm trying to do is have my Mom talk to Apple in California (where she bought my laptop) and ask if there is anything they can do to at least give me my 1-year warranty's worth. Even if it's just a battery replacement, or the unibody replacement or even both!

I tried asking from Apple stores here in Manila but they weren't too helpful at all.

Please Apple. Pretty, pretty please! It wasn't my fault my MacBook didn't show any signs of defect or any sort of problems within the duration of the warranty and besides, it's not as if I intentionally let my battery implode or let my wristpad crack and I HAVE NOT USED MY WARRANTY. Please let me experience my warranty! :(

I have always been an Apple lover and I have heard so many great service stories from friends and relatives about Apple. I'm hoping they'll grant my request.

Can you see my Adsense Ads?

Hi guys, so this is weird... but can you please please please let me know if you can see my Google Adsense ads here and on my other blog, Mara's Appetite?

I am not sure whether it's my browsers (Firefox and Safari) or my internet connection has been terrible lately that's why it won't load but I'm worried that my earnings will get affected (not that I get a thousand hits every day but still...) and I don't like the sight of my blog having these white spaces on the sidebar.

Help!

Friday Frustrations: 3 things

ConversationsWithMoms:Every day Conversations with a Mom Blog

Technically, it is already Sunday but because there were circumstances that were not in my control, I will only get to post an entry here today.

What circumstances? My frustration?

I am slowly losing interest in something and I have to set my mind and find out what I really want to do with it.

Anyway, the previous month and last the 5-days of this week has been a huge upset and frustration to me.

1. I feel bored, drained and unhappy with what I'm doing. I used to enjoy it but now I'm thinking nothing's changing, it's just brain-juice draining and just plain blah. I need to come up with a backup plan before deciding on anything.

2. My Wi-Fi router here at home is busted and now I have to take turns with my brother for the direct cable of the internet. He stays longer online than I do.

3. My laptop's battery is bloated and it cost P7,500 ($170) for a new one. If I don't replace it, I'll have to bear with a trackpad, trackbutton and keyboard that has a mind of their own; clicking, highlighting and deleting on its own. So now, I removed my battery and is using the adapter ALL day.

Blah, blah, blah. I can feel my frustration going sky high especially with number 1.
Lord, help me.

Timbaland Manila Tour.

Timbaland featuring Justin Timberlake & JoJo

To watch or not to watch? That is the question.

I like Timbaland's songs and collaborations.
I enjoy Jojo's songs.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE.

But I am undecided whether or not I should go and watch these 3 perform. Jojo and JT are only "guest stars".

One great factor affecting my decision is my budget. I'm saving up for something for my birthday, I already set a monthly spending allowance and money-to-set-aside every payday. I don't think I can ruin my budget for a concert... but then it's Justin Timberlake and this may never happen again! :|

I am so TORN.

Tokio Hotel - World Behind My Wall

Oh my geez... Was I really gone for more than a week?!

So much for my new year's resolution of updating my blogs at least 3 times a week. Work has suddenly been too much for my eyes and brain to handle. I need to slow down a bit if I want my brain juice to work for the next day.

Anyway, I won't make any promises anymore BUT I will do my best to make you guys feel my presence. I have so much to share to all of you.

For now, I will leave you with this video from Tokio Hotel called World Behind My Wall. I have been singing this song for days now because aside from it having a real catchy tune, I can relate to the message of the song. I also provided the lyrics below. :)

Lyrics (c/o LyricsMania)

It's raining today
The blinds are shut
It's always the same
I tried all the games that they play
But they made me insane
Life on TV
It's random
It means nothing to me
I'm writing down
What I cannot see
Wanna wake up in a dream

Oh
They're telling me
It's beautiful
I believe them
But will I ever know
The World Behind My Wall
Oh
The sun will shine
Like never before
One day I will be
Ready to go
See the World Behind My Wall

Trains in the sky
Are travelling
Through fragments of time
They're taking me to parts
Of my mind
That no one can find

I'm ready to fall
I'm ready to crawl
On my knees to know it all
I'm ready to heal
I'm ready to feel

Oh
They're telling me
It's beautiful
I believe them
But will I ever know
The World Behind My Wall
Oh
The sun will shine
Like never before
One day I will be
Ready to go
See the World Behind My Wall
See the World Behind My Wall
See the World Behind My Wall

See the World Behind My Wall

I'm ready to fall
I'm ready to crawl
On my knees to know it all
I'm ready to heal
I'm ready to feel

Take me there! (oh) [x3]

Oh
They're telling me
It's beautiful
I believe them
But will I ever know
The World Behind My Wall

Top 10 Blogs & Websites That Rocked my 2009: Happy 2010!!

Please don't tell me I'm late cos I know and I'm sorry... again! The last 2 months of 2009 has been a lot busier for me what with my job and all. The last 2 months practically made up for my depression during the first 10 months but let's not dwell on that anymore because this is the second day of the new year, the year 2010!

I'm telling you, so far it has been a great start of the year for me not to mention the chipped tooth I got last Christmas and a stye on New Year's Eve. Yikes. But anyway back to my happy day: I received my paycheck earlier than usual, I won a free meal in one of my most favorite places to eat, I did my first step in trying out "new things" (you know, the ones I haven't tried before but wouldn't harm me if I do), and I have a really good feeling 2010 will rock for me!

Since we're in the line of rocking, I would like to post THE TOP 10 BLOGS/WEBSITES THAT ROCKED MY 2009. Uh-huh, uh-huh! The list will include the blogs that I enjoyed reading, commenting on, lurked around, and basically made friends with the blog owners themselves and the websites that are always open on my tabs up until the 31st of December year 2009.

I hope you enjoy my list and thank you for keeping me and the rest of the online world happy and entertained! :)

THE TOP 10 BLOGS & WEBSITES THAT ROCKED MY 2009:

1. Home Buddies
Home Buddies

The blogger, Fedhz, has been my friend for about a year now more or less if I'm not mistaken. Her blog contents are pretty much like mine: random. But her randoms are more on the Mommy, housekeeper, blogger, multi-tasker side while my randoms are... well too random. Fedhz' entries which talks about her real life are inspiring!

2. Conversations with Moms

ConversationsWithMoms:Every day Conversations with a Mom Blog

This blog introduced me to the world of motherhood. Mommy Maria talks about her kids in a way that makes me dream about being a Mom myself and I want a son as smart as Jeffrey too. Her kids are so adorable! Conversations with Moms are not just about being a Mommy, there's also a bit of a humor here and there, some frustrations with day to day life, etc. Believe me, I am nowhere near being a Mom but visiting and reading Mommy Maria's blog got my interest.

3. Facebook

After 2 blog sites I am including a social networking site on the list. What? Facebook completes me! Haha! I'm kidding...not! Well, you know what I mean if you're "hooked" with it like I am. I can't go on a day without checking my Facebook account except when I'm out of town or out for the day which I still find the time to check using my BlackBerry at least once. There's just something addicting about getting updates from your friends which most of them you don't get to see as often or those who are already abroad and with families. Facebook connects people. :) (I believe that tagline is from Nokia--connecting people.)

4. Mariuca

Wishing on a Falling Star

Mariuca has several other blogs but this particular blog I like more because it's much more random and I like visiting blogs which makes talking about random things their niche. Does that even make sense? Mariuca gets a lot of visitors and commenters everyday but she finds time to reply and visit you back which is pretty nice of her.

5. Twitter

I created an account just late August and I think I'm near a thousand tweets already as we speak. I'm not that much of an addict though cos I also feed my 2 blogs there and from August until November I have been posting almost everyday plus for the past months I've only been using my BlackBerry via UberTwitter to tweet. But yes, it is addicting. Hi, I'm Mara and I'm a #TWADDICT. (See?)

6. Basically Becky

The first time I happen to stumble upon Becky's blog I read through almost all her entries and read her story and I was deeply moved that I actually sent her an e-mail. Her story is really something but when you visit her blog you can feel and almost see her positivity and happy outlook in life. She talks about personal things, random musings, etc. She's a really good person.

7. Blogger

Hello! Like I would exclude my blog platform which helped me earn a little something something throughout 2009! You rock, Blogger!

Sandy, the blog owner, talks about her life in remission from cancer. I only discovered her blog sometime last year and by then she was already talking about her remission and her miracle baby. Like Becky, Sandy's blog has something to share, there are lessons we could learn and realizations to discover.

9. Travelin' thru Life with Marie

Travelin' With Marie

Even though it was not until mid 2009 that I first visited Travelin' it was always an enjoyable read when I'm on her blog. Just recently she held a contest and I sponsored. I planned on participating too but after I sent my pledged prizes I became too busy to go about all the blogs, the instructions, etc. Her blog is friendly and so is she. :)

With several blog awards that I received last year, Ate Bambie rocked the last quarter of 2009 for me with all the awards she has shared. She's friendly, sweet and although she updates her blog once in a while or with daily quick posts, you'll see she really has ideas and opinions that she wants to share with everyone.

I'm about to go for Top 20 cos there's still several other blogs and websites I have in mind but my stye is like throbbing already and I should probably get some eye-shut. I will continue with the list...........

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! MAY THIS YEAR ROCK FOR ALL OF US!

XOXO,
MARA

Merry Christmas!!

I am a day late but it does not mean that my greeting everybody a happy holidays just now is less sincere. I know I have been MIA for almost 2 weeks and I definitely am sure that I missed a lot of happenings with my friends' blogs. That part makes me sad but... well, they know I'm with them in spirit and I am always thinking of YOU. It might sound crazy but I do think of the blogs that I used to visit and read everyday but I don't get to for the past days and imagine that I am actually reading them. That's how much I miss all of you! I have a lot of stories to share and I'd really start typing them now for scheduled postings before the holiday ends and I'm back to my busy busy schedule (not that I have a lot of free time on my hands even on holidays).

Anyway, I would just like to greet everyone a very happy christmas! I hope you all enjoyed this day with your family and loved ones and don't forget to hug them, thank them and say I love you to them. :) Time is fleeting!

I wish my Dad is still alive and my Mom is here with us in the Philippines but they're not so I just tell them "I love you" when I pray (my Dad) and on Facebook and IM messages (my Mom). I miss them both so much!

Catch you guys later!

P.S.
Have you read my entry below? I want my love story too. Read and comment!

I want my love story too.

Hi guys! How have you all been? I have been twice as preoccupied and thrice as exhausted these past days and haven't had the energy to go around and drop by my favorite blogs. I miss all of you!

Today, I am just dropping by to share with you something that I have found a few minutes earlier. Yes, I have read about this a few minutes ago and I cannot wait to share this with you. I fell in love with them and their story that I seriously got tears in my eyes and I feel like crying right now.

I am currently doing some daily tasks and one of it include searching for certain photos that can be included in a website. As I was searching, I stumbled about a photo with a title "This is heaven". Unfortunately, I cannot seem to save the image but you can check it out by clicking HEREspaceball.gif. I fell in love with their photos and checked out their blog and discovered that they have actually been featured in one of the top local newspaper here in the Philippines, Philippine Daily Inquirer. This is a must-read article for those in love, wants to fall in love, already lost hope in falling in love, etc. etc. Ironic that while I was reading the article, my iTunes played "Is It You" by Cassie. Now I really feel like crying.

Check out the article about Aaron and Rosie HERE.
Check out their blog HERE.

And listen and watch Is It You below:

I'm looking for a lover not a friend
Somebody who can be there
When I need someone to talk to
I'm looking for someone who won't pretend
Somebody not afraid to say the way they feel about you

And I'm looking for someone who understands how I feel,
Someone who can keep me real and who knows always
Baby I like to have you in my way
And I'm looking for someone who takes me there,
Wants to share, shows he cares

Thinking on the one that I've been waiting for

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be the one I need?

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me? (Could you be?)
Could you be the one I need?

I'm looking for someone
To share my pain (Uh)
Someone who I can run to,
Who would stay with me when it rains
Someone who I can cry with trough the night
Someone who I can trust who's hardest right
And I'm looking for someone

And I'm looking for someone who understands how I feel,
Someone who can keep me real and who knows always
Baby I like to have you in my way
And I'm looking for someone who takes me there,
Want to share, shows he cares
Thinking on the one that I've been waiting for

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be the one I need?

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be this one I need?

Take for grant
How much I care (How much I care)
And appreciates that I'm there
Someone who listens
And someone I can call
Who isn't afraid of thought to share

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be the one I need?

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be the one I need?

What do you think of having 2 jobs?

So, okay I have not really been active at all during the past week and I terribly missed blogging! For real! It's like I have this list of new topics to write but then again at the end of the day I already feel too tired and too exhausted to work my brain out. It's not a writer's block but it's a little similar to that.

I am not sure if I have already shared with you that I landed a home-based job last November. It takes most hours of my day doing my tasks that I already feel drained during the night. It's already feels like a real job to me because I get paid monthly with a reasonable enough salary for 8 hours of work every weekday except that I can accomplish those tasks at the comfort of my own home or wherever I please. I enjoy doing this and I feel a whole lot comfortable than going through the hassle of everyday traffic, meal expenses, etc. but there's just one thing... I cannot exactly count it as employment and I have specific goals to attain within next year. That is why I decided to go out and apply for a second job... and I got hired!

Now, I feel like I am going to be completely drained out to be able to handle all my online activities but I will do my best to figure things out. I will go back to advertising my blogs again probably on January of 2010. Can you guys believe it's already 2010 in a few weeks time? I can't. It feels like 2009 just passed me by. Sure I have had lots of fun activities during the summer but in general, I cannot think of any significant thing that happened to me except that I got a job last November, I get to hang out with friends and that I got hired for a second job this month. But I guess this is a rather good way to end 2009 and welcome 2010, don't you think? I am set to having a real "work experience" to put into my CV other than my 2 student training (practicum/OJT) by next year. My friends think I would not last a year. One even gave me 2 months before I quit and the other one said 3 months but is hoping for a year. Okay, I'm motivated. I will go for at least 6 months. ;) That is when the one I am really expecting for next year won't happen earlier or else I would leave the second job in less than 6 months ( just the second job).

I am expecting things to go the way I want and will do what I have to achieve those things. Thanks to friends of mine who helped me get my shiz straight. :D

Two jobs! Whatcha think?

Thanksgiving.

I know this post is nearly 4 days late for a Happy Thanksgiving greeting but either way, I still want to greet all my friends from the US (and all over the world), Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you and your loved ones had a very great one!

Although Thanksgiving isn't really big here in the Philippines, I would like to join in on the celebration and keep my mind straight on things I should be thankful for and should take time to appreciate every single day.

I am thankful...

... for the friends I still have. I realized who my "happy" friends are and who my true friends are.

... that even though I am having a hard time landing myself a job, I still have an online work that is as good as doing a 9-5 day job minus the hassle of transportation and clothing and it pays.

... for the smiles and laughs I have everyday no matter how limited they may be for me.

... for the hopes, dreams and goals I still have for the future even though there are more days that I feel down in the dumps worrying about how to achieve them, overwhelmed by the tasks I barely know how to do and should be able to accomplish in a limited time.

... my Mom is safe, healthy and happy in the US.

... I sill have something to look forward to.

... I still have some positivity left in me and as long as I keep my faith and hopes up, I will survive.

Thanksgiving Day may have ended over the weekends but it should not stop us from giving thanks for the blessings that make us happy no matter how small or big they are. :)

How was your Thanksgiving Celebration? I hope you had a fab time!

Good Times with Mo: The Blog.

I have a new guilty pleasure. Aside from all the teen-crazed series, movies, music, and social networking I have found myself another addition to my very long list of "pleasures" and that would be a new favorite blog on the web:

this is the Good Times with Mo: The Blog where I think the most humorous, frank, crazy, sarcastic and funny opinions of the country's most popular and "controversial" DJ can be found. I write this post with a whole lot of love for the DJ that I have been listening to since I was in grade 5. No, I'm not in grade 6. I have been listening to him and Miles when they were still doing the Top 5 countdown every 5 in the afternoon and until now that he's in a much earlier time slot with Good Times.

There are a lot of people who don't really get him, not like I'm saying that I do, but I think he's a pretty cool guy. Honest and very very opinionated. ;) Try visiting his blog for a sneak peek. Never fails to put a smile on my face no matter how crazy his topics sometimes are.

Beautiful World - Carolina Liar

This song has been my favorite since I heard it months ago. Once I start to listen to this
on my iPod or my iTunes, I can't stop myself from repeating it.
I know Music Monday is over obviously because it's already Wednesday but I feel like sharing
this to all of you as I'm listening to it in my background (I told you, I can't stop once I start).

I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. The lyrics personally struck me although it's a little pessimistic
if you read it/listen to it carefully BUT the beat of the song contradicted it making the message of the song sound
hopeful and positive.

Exactly my sentiments. EXACTLY. I think for the time being, this is going to be my "life song".

It's weird that the video has 0:00 in its time but it actually plays. So please listen to it. :)

You guys have any "life song"? Would love to know and listen to it too!

Happy Wednesday!!

All Souls' Day.

November 2, All Souls' Day and I went earlier today to visit my Dad.

I miss him every single day.

I posted this video on my Facebook page and thought that I should also share it here with you guys. This is a very sweet, sad and timely video for this "occasion".

My Dad didn't allow me to ride a bike so I don't know how.

My Dad won't be able to walk me down the aisle when I get married.

And I wasn't there with him when he breathe his last breath.

But I cried watching this video. I cried for the times that did not happen and would not happen anymore.
I cried because I wasn't there to say "you can let go now, Daddy" but I think it was much okay that way because
I know I wouldn't have the strength to say it to him.
I cried because I'm still not okay. I cried because even though Daddy didn't teach me how to ride a bike, he taught
me how to carry myself. He may not be able to walk me down the aisle but he was there walking down the aisle with
me during my grade school and high school graduation and it broke my heart that he was 5 months gone before my college graduation.

My one frustration is that I didn't get to hug and kiss him one last time. That is what's breaking my heart until now.

I love you Daddy.
